Hotel Suncity Apollo - Gateway Of India - Mumbai

The location is fantastic, just steps from iconic spots like the Gateway of India. The room could use some upgrades in comfort.

Had an awesome stay for 6 nights, everything was great. The room was spotlessly clean and stylish as in photos, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed standard king room provided with fridge, large tv's plus an even smaller washroom. The breakfast was particularly good with lots of goodies. The staff members were all helpful and excellent co-operating...

The room was really small, but the shower was a decent experience.

Very comfortable experience there. The hotel with great modern and well-designed rooms, in a busy area, close to the tourist attractions. Particularly good breakfast with plenty of food.

The rooms of the hotel were well furnished with clean bathroom.

We didn't like the bed, it was old.

The proximity to the Gateway of India, just a few steps away, made it easy for me to explore this historic site, and I loved discovering a fantastic café nearby that served the best Dosas I've ever tasted, making my mornings in Mumbai good.

5. Breakfast was good, appreciated

I am not fully satisfied with Hotel Apollo. Reasons are, 1. Online booking said it was 4100INR + taxes, but while in hotel we were informed that it is 5100INR + Taxes. 2. Communication was too bad; “this is what it is you decide” language is not acceptable. 3. Finally we (I & Abhishek) shared a room ( Even though we already had 02 room booking confirmation) 4. Services in room were also not up to mark

We were only for one night at this hotel. The staff was really friendly and helped us with printing our boarding passes, leaving our backpacks at the hotel while we had another day in Mumbai and helping us to get a taxi (not paying the highest price).

Breakfast.

The spacious rooms provide a comfortable atmosphere, and the attentive staff ensure all your needs are met, making it a pleasant stay.

The location is fantastic, just steps from iconic spots, and the breakfast served was delicious. My experience was marred by a lack of initial care regarding room condition, as the first room we received was unsatisfactory. Thankfully, the staff addressed this after a conversation, and the new room offered a much better experience.

The breakfast buffet is solid, with fresh grill items and gourmet coffee, made my mornings a lot better. The spacious room layout is functional, offering room for movement despite the overall tiredness of the decor.

There were several annoyances that detracted from my stay. The air conditioning unit emitted an unbearable hissing noise, and the fridge was out of order. Hot water took an agonizingly long time to tap out. I had to deal with a cockroach in the sink upon arrival, a real downer. The hotel could benefit from better maintenance overall, especially given the noticeable wear in the room fixtures and common areas.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and clean, but the breakfast options lacked variety. The shower area could use improvement, though the initial comfort was great. I'd return for the experience!
